1. Information We Collect

When you sign in to SEESOUND using Google OAuth, we receive your Google account email address, name, and a unique user identifier. We do not access or store your Google password.

When you subscribe to SEESOUND Premium, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your payment information. We do not store or process your credit card details directly. Stripe provides us with a customer identifier and subscription status.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data, including pages visited, time on site, and general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Authenticate your account and provide access to SEESOUND features.
  • Manage your subscription and payment status via Stripe.
  • Store job history (renders, stem splits) associated with your account.
  • Improve the service through anonymized analytics.
  • Send occasional service-related emails (e.g., subscription confirmations).

3. Data Storage

Your account data (email, name, subscription status) is stored in a Turso database. Render and stem-split job records are also stored in this database, linked to your user ID.

Audio files you upload for processing are sent to Modal for computation. Uploaded audio and generated outputs are cached temporarily and may be retained for service reliability. We do not use your audio content for any purpose other than fulfilling your requested processing.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers necessary to operate SEESOUND:

  • Google — for OAuth authentication.
  • Stripe — for payment processing and subscription management.
  • Turso — for database hosting.
  • Modal — for audio processing and rendering compute.
  • Google Analytics — for anonymized usage analytics.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

5. Cookies

SEESOUND uses essential cookies for authentication (session cookies managed by Auth.js) and Google Analytics cookies for usage measurement. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect analytics reporting only — core functionality will not be impacted.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@seesound.net.

7. Children's Privacy

SEESOUND is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of SEESOUND after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact
